NURSING HOME. The wellness and the lengthening of the lifestyle, confront us with new scenarios. As architects, we are called to answer with an updated structure and an appropriate and contemporary architectural form. The Nursing Home represented these ideas through a design based on specific criteria. First of all, the attention to the environmental context and to the territory in which the new building will be inserted. The creation of a new public square can give a new identity to the plot of intervention, that now is mainly occupied by the soccer field. Secondly, the focus on the specific zoning use: each design decision has been adopted in a strict correspondence between the health program and the distribution project, ensuring the spatial flexibility that an hospital requires. The steel structure and the dry construction systems allow to change easily the interior partitions to adapt the spaces for every kind of needs.
